Intro to Curling Clinic- Sunday Afternoon Session

Loaner equipment is available including brooms and sliders. For those who have less mobility, we have push sticks available-similar to shuffle board!  The only thing you need to bring are, clean running shoes or similar rubber soled footwear that you carry in with you, warm gloves, and a great attitude!  Please come dressed in layers and in pants that allow for easy movement.

Please Note:  arrive approximately 15 minutes ahead of time and enter through the main doors and proceed down the hallway to the left.  Go through the next glass door and check in with one of the Curling Instructors.    

Proceed to the locker rooms. If you haven't rented a locker, Locks may be used to secure personal belongings for the duration of your session. Locks must be removed when the session is over.    Don't leave any valuables in the locker room, that are not secured in a locker.   Purses can be taken out to the ice surface and placed on the back boards if necessary.

Return to the check in area and you will then be shown where to pick up a slider, gripper and broom.   These must be returned after the session is completed. 

All curlers should enter the ice area, only after a member of the Orillia Curling Club is present and the ice technicians have finished their ice preparation.    Please use the sticky mats and boot cleaners provided to clean your shoes.
