Lawn Bowling Anyone??
Now that spring is nearly here why not try something different?
Thursday, June 12th at 1pm - Join your Curling Club friends out in the fresh air and sunshine for a quick lesson and a game of lawn bowls. Light refreshments will follow.
It’s like “curling on grass”, but without the sweeping! Roll your bowl to a target ‘jack’ ball - it curls several feet due to a bias built into each bowl.
Dress comfortably and wear flat shoes and don't forget your water bottle. All other equipment is provided by the Lawn Bowling Club - 5 Commerce Rd (off West St between Patrick Fogarty SS and the Fire Station).
It's a great way to get some gentle exercise and reconnect with your Curling Club pals, so register now!
