CCBC Xmas Curling Social (Private)

Open to CCBC staff!

Come out for an afternoon of Curling FUN!

No Experience Required!   We will be teaching everyone the basics of curling so you can quickly get into a game.    

Loaner equipment is available including brooms, grippers and delivery sticks.   The only thing you need to bring are, clean running shoes or similar rubber soled footwear that you carry in with you, warm gloves, and dress in layers and in pants that allow for easy movement.

When registering please indicate if you have curled before.

Please Note:  On day of event, arrive approximately 30 minutes early.  Enter through the main doors at Barnfeild Point Recreation Centre and proceed down the hallway to the left.  Go through the next glass door and check in with the coordinator.    

Proceed to the locker rooms. Locks may be used to secure personal belongings for the duration of your event. Locks must be removed when the session is over.    Don't leave any valuables in the locker room, that are not secured in a locker.   Purses can be taken out to the ice surface and placed on the back boards.

You will then be shown where to pick up the necessary equipment (grippers, step on slider and broom).   Please return equipment when the session is completed. 

All curlers should enter the ice area, only after a member of the Orillia Curling Club is present and the ice technicians have finished their ice preparation.    Please use the sticky mats and boot cleaners provided to clean your shoes as you enter the ice area.
