Don's Monthly Message - Nov 3, 2023

November 3, 2023
The new season has started off well without any hiccups reported. Overall our membership is down a bit and you probably have seen this in some of the leagues. We will continue to work at increasing the membership and would appreciate your help in spreading the word to friends and family. We have a lot of opportunities to bring them out such as Learn to Curl, and Pay to Play.
I apologize! During my note a couple of weeks ago about our AGM I neglected to call out our Convenors and what an incredible job they have done (and continue to do) in organizing and balancing teams while trying to meet various requests to schedule bye's. I certainly do appreciate all that they do and hope our members do as well. Maybe let them know the next time you see them!
Coming up this Saturday at 10:00am is our Annual General Meeting. We hope to get as many members as possible to join this ZOOM call. We will further update you on past and future initiatives at the club. Click here to join the meeting:

Newbie Bonspiel on Saturday, November 11th. We still have availability for this fun Bonspiel that is open to the public. Generously sponsored by Wes Brennan Construction, this Bonspiel is a fun stress free event for our newer curlers to experience a Bonspiel.

Pair Up! As darkness arrives sooner, the parking lot at BPRC, while lit, can be scary for some. It is recommended that people go out to the parking lot in pairs or groups if you feel nervous on your own. There are no security cameras in the parking lot.
Thank you and kindest regards
