Just a reminder that on October 1st at noon we will be closing registrations for the fall.

Signups are coming in fast and leagues are starting to fill to capacity.

As registrations close on October 1st, our league convenors will start creating teams and schedules.

Equipment. Remember that your equipment has sat idle for the past 6 months or longer and may require replacement. Especially grippers. Check all of your equipment and if you need replacements or new equipment, Shot Rock located inside the Barrie Curling Club is fully stocked. There is also the Orillia Canadian Tire that has limited stock available.

Safety. We are all a year older and have not been on the ice for a while. Please use extra caution when getting on, off, sliding and sweeping. If you feel unstable, there are sticks available, and are recommended for those in need. We would rather you enjoy the game safely than risk injury.

Lockers. For those who have rented lockers, your account should have saved your locker from last year. We will mark the lockers currently spoken for prior to October 7th. October 7th & 8th the ice will be available for practice from 9 am to 5 p.m. No booking is required, just drop in, find a sheet, and share if in use.

Learn to Curl for our new or rusty curlers' is available for signup! Any member who needs some instruction,  we will have instructors available for our morning and afternoon sessions on both Saturday 7th, and Sunday 8th. There is limited capacity and they do require you to register.
Simply log into your account, and scroll down on the right side to register. These fill up quickly so don't delay!

League play starts Tuesday, October 10th. No curling on holiday Monday.
