Come out for an afternoon of Curling FUN!
No Experience Required! We will be teaching everyone the basics of curling so you can quickly get into a game.
Loaner equipment is available including brooms, grippers and delivery sticks. The only thing you need to bring are, clean running shoes or similar rubber soled footwear that you carry in with you, warm gloves, and dress in layers and in pants that allow for easy movement.
When registering please indicate if you have curled before.
Nuts 'n Bolts Bonspiel-January 11th, 2025Probably one of the most anticipated Bonspiels of the year!The Nuts 'n Bolts Bonspiel is annually hosted by Andrea and Rob Town. Their unique format involves teams made up by having 12 Skips randomly choose a unique bolt.
Vices then pick a nut out of a bin and proceed to match it with the bolt. This continues for Seconds and Leads until 12 teams are chosen.The day will start at 9am with check-in, coffee, tea and sweets and team picking at 9:30.
2 4-end games, then into the lobby for a mini Euchre tournament and pizza lunch. Euchre scores are added to curling scores.Following are 2 more 4-end games, Euchre & then drinks, snacks and prizes to wrap up the day.Should you have any items for the prize table please contact Andrea: This email address is being protected from spambots. Join us for a fun afternoon of curling in support of the Orillia Scottish Festival Kilt Skate and Curl.This National Fundraising event is aimed at supporting the heritage and culture of all things Scottish. The event is open to the public and will have an open skate (location to be confirmed), followed by a 2 hour Learn to Curl event, ending with a 1 hour fun Scottish Trivia contest for those interested participants.Skate starts at 10am located at: to Be Confirmed

February 15th will be our Family Day Bonspiel! Open to all Members, their families and friends to come out and enjoy a fun-filled day on the curling rink.
The Day will start at 9:00am with Coffee Tea and Sweets.
2x 4 end games followed by lunch. Then a 6 end game using rotating positions and ending with prizes.
Enter as a "Family up to 4", or individually and be put with a "Family"!
